These items, collectively, have an approximate value of €800,000. They are scheduled to be auctioned off via competitive bidding by a Rome-based auction firm. The presents are currently stored in a secure area on the upper level of the prime minister's official office. Reports indicate that Meloni furthermore planning to auction off gifts given to her preceding prime ministers that have been gathering dust over a long period.
