Nearly 90 Flights Associated to Jeffrey Epstein Reportedly Arrived at or Departed from UK Airports

An investigation has uncovered that approximately 90 aircraft journeys linked to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein are said to have landed at and took off from British airfields, with some reportedly having onboard British women who claim they were exploited by the convicted child sex offender.

Flight Logs Show Pattern of Travel

These aviation records were part of a trove of legal papers and papers made public by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been released over the past year. The investigation identified 87 aircraft movements tied to Epstein – encompassing many that were hitherto undisclosed – coming into or leaving from British airfields between the start of the 1990s and 2018.

Onboard Individuals and After Guilty Verdict Travel

Unnamed female passengers were listed among the individuals travelling into and out of the UK. Crucially, 15 of these British airport journeys happened after Epstein’s 2008 guilty verdict for procuring prostitution from a minor.

“This is ‘appalling’ that there had never been a ‘full-scale UK investigation’ into his activities in the country,” remarked US lawyers acting for numerous Epstein victims.

British Victims and Legal Proceedings

Evidence from one of the British victims was instrumental in convicting Epstein’s associate socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. However, that survivor has never been contacted by UK authorities, according to her Florida-based lawyer.

In a statement, the Metropolitan police stated they had “not been provided with any additional evidence that would support restarting the inquiry.” They noted, “If new and relevant evidence be brought to our attention, encompassing any resulting from the disclosure of documents in the US, we will review it.”

Ongoing Disclosure and Judicial Decisions

Proposed legislation to release every document held by the US government in relation to Epstein was approved by the US Congress last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to follow through. A vast number of papers are anticipated to be made public.

Separately, a federal judge ruled last week that the department could make public investigative materials from a trafficking prosecution against Maxwell, Epstein’s close friend, who is currently serving a 20-year jail term over the charges.
